Periarticular Treatments For Joint Pain

Zeel was developed by world renowned German physician/researcher Dr. H. Reckeweg and is used worldwide. It is made up of 15 natural active ingredients (Mostly amino acids, minerals and botanicals) intended to provide relief of arthritic symptoms and promote the regeneration of healthy connective tissue function.

ZeelIn a recent study Zeel acu-injections where found to be more effective than cox-1 and cox-2 inhibitors and with excellent tolerability. Periarticular means around the joint and that’s exactly where the acu-injections are administered. Typically a problem joint receives 3-6 small acu-injections around the joint area, twice a week for several weeks.

Periarticular acu-injections are effective for most minor, medium and large joints such as shoulders, hips, elbows, knees, toes, fingers and TMJ. It is very important to finish the series because of the synergistic effect of the treatment, much the same as antibiotics, where even if the symptoms subside it is critical that the patient finish the entire series in order to realize fully the benefits of the treatment and minimize relapse of the inflammation cycle. Because the acu-injections are periarticular and not intra-articular (Deep inside the joint) the needle is only injected to a depth of less than a ¼ inch. This combined with the fact the needle size used is not much larger than a human hair (About 10 times smaller than most needles and often referred to as acu-injections) the discomfort level is minimal but the effectiveness of the treatment is phenomenal at stopping the pain and inflammation cycle.

Dr. Daniel (D.C.) Asks some important questions of interest to Norcross residents - Chiropractor Norcross Dr. Daniel (D.C.) Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Norcross parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
