The Medical Staff at Total HealthCare Medical Center, Norcross

Dr. Millin

Dr. Millin is a native of Philadelphia and a graduate of the University of Medicine of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine, his specialty is family medicine with an emphasis on preventive care and musculo-skeletal problems.

He enjoys interacting with his patients and getting them to understand the mechanics behind their health issues and the options they have to alleviate them. He feels that the more a patient knows about their health the more motivated they become and the more positive their outcomes.

His osteopathic training and philosophy allows him to consider the whole patient and not just their symptoms and to explore traditional as well as alternative methods of treatment. A belief in the bodies ability to help heal and regenerate itself is central to this philosophy.

Dr. Nagwa Eskander

Norcross Medical Doctor, Nagwa Eskander, MD

Although my initial inclination was towards studying Literature and math, I finally chose medicine because of my love for people and my natural desire to help others anyway I can.

Many years ago I suffered from some medical problems that traditional medicine was not very effective in treating. I had to explore alternative medicine, and I found that natural treatments as herbs, supplements and biological medicines worked quite well and with no side-effects. Now I truly believe in traditional medicine but I believe that today’s health providers dispense way too many drugs. These drugs often times cover

the problem but do not fix it. Just because someone covers up their car’s check engine light, does not mean the problem is fixed! This is why I focus on the cause not just symptoms.

I use many treatments that are safe and effective, that I know will help the patients without causing harm. I often use alternative medicine, supplements, and life style changes, without the use of harsh, chemically based drugs to help my patients. Another great advantage that I use often is the fact that I work with my co-partners who are board certified chiropractic physicians and physio-therapists. As a team we collectively combine our skills to come up with the best solution to get rid of pain and get my patients healthy again.

I am married and have two great kids, an 11 year old boy, and a 7 year old girl. We love to go on nearby getaways whenever we have the chance, and we enjoy swimming in our neighborhood pool during the summer.

I encourage my kids to develop healthy habits, eat healthy foods and exercise daily to stay healthy.

So if you are tired of pain, give me the opportunity to earn your trust and I urge you to call us and get your self back to feeling the way you use to…happy and healthy.

Integrated, Regenerative and Complimentary Medicine, which she has practiced since 2003. She believes her warm and caring personality and a sincere concern for the dignity and well being of her patients, coupled with an extensive medical background in Integrated, Traditional and Naturopathic Medicine, allows her to serve her patients with the best possible care, focusing on the cause of the symptoms and overall health.

“By treating my patients globally, regionally and locally and integrating traditional and complementary medicine, we can effectively help chronic and acute pain sufferers”, Julie said. “The importance of treating the whole person can not be over emphasized. The goal is to treat the cause of an illness rather than merely the symptoms, with the ultimate priority being to do no harm to the patient (such as avoiding treatments that cause side effects) and stimulating the body to regenerate healthy tissue. I passionatly feel that my role is not only a healer but that of a teacher, educator and motivator to my patients to assume responsibility in their healing process.”

Norcross Chiropractor, Dr. Mark Daniel

I immigrated to the United States on a ship, from the country of Wales as a boy of 10 years young. I attended Life University during which my course work, included major emphasis on Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal problems. I received my doctorate in chiropractic in 1989 and soon after I became board certified.

Within a few short years I became the official doctor of the Atlanta Ballet, and soon after I was voted Chiropractor Of The Year by Creative Loafing Magazine. Osteoarthritis problems, numbness and tingling are one several areas I specialize in treating, because they tend to give many of my patients the most trouble.

Dr. Steve Mercante

Norcross Chiropractor, Ddr. Steve Mercante

My eyes were opened when I heard about chiropractic. I discovered the healing art while I was researching post-graduate studies. I knew I wanted to go into the health care field, but was unsure of my path until my brother was helped with an ailing back he had for years. He tried Chiropractic out and got immediate benefit for his disc problem. I spoke with his Doctor of Chiropractic and learned the true science and philosophy of Chiropractic. At that point, I knew the path to take.”

Doctor of Chiropractic degree (Cum Laude) at Life University in Marietta. I was surprised to learn how comparable the course study was to medical school, focusing on anatomy, neurology, X-ray interpretation and diagnosis. I am also board certified in physiologic therapeutics and currently receiving ongoing post-graduate education in sports injuries and rehabilitation.

I take pride in the results I get and focus on the true underlying cause of the problem. I stress communication so that my patients fully understand what it is we are doing and why. I encourage questions and embrace those skeptical patients who have unsuccessfully tried other means to help their problem. I have been practicing Chiropractic in Norcross since 1995.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to hearing from you and learning how I may be of help.

Dr. Daniel (D.C.) Asks some important questions of interest to Norcross residents - Chiropractor Norcross Dr. Daniel (D.C.) Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Norcross parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
